About Daubert Design

Daubert Design was founded in Omaha, Nebraska by Doug Daubert.

In 1995, Doug was introduced to the Internet while working on a Masters degree.  A mentor suggested Doug do something radically different when publishing his work:  an interactive computer based thesis.  In addition to a hard bound copy, Doug submitted an HTML version of his thesis on CD-ROM that could be viewed in a web browser.  He was hooked!  (A few years later Doug registered a domain and published his thesis on the Internet.  You can view it here:  farrington.dougdaubert.com)

Realizing the great communication tool the Internet could be, Doug became very involved in the design and construction of many web sites through his work as a computer consultant/trainer and later as a university administrator.  Doug was honored to serve on the university web site committee and was one of the first directors to hire a dedicated student web master.  Together they built several department and student web sites and assisted other university departments as they established their presence on the web.

After leaving the university Doug continued to build and redesign personal sites and rekindled his love of photography.  To date Doug has designed and created fourteen web sites from the ground up and been involved with many sites as a consultant, including a major chemical company and a popular outdoor outfitter.  Always learning and looking for new and creative ideas, he is constantly reviewing and consulting on web sites for friends and colleagues.

About Doug Daubert

AlaskaBorn in Omaha, Doug moved to Missouri after completing his education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Doug spent close to fifteen years furthering his education, developing career and starting a family in Missouri before returning to Omaha in the summer of 2005.  When he’s not at the computer, Doug loves spending time with his daughters and his young yellow lab, Zeke.  Photography, travel, the love of the outdoors and coaching youth sports fill out the remaining spots on his calendar.
